Expedition In Nepal

With 8 of the world's 14 peaks over 8000 meters, Nepal has been the focus of some of the most outstanding achievements in the world of mountaineering. It also has a convergence of 1310 magnificent peaks over 6000 meters. Nepal has become famous through out the world due to these mountains.


There are some 326 peaks in Nepal opened for mountaineering today. Expedition is similar to challenging treks, however, includes basic mountaineering above the snow line using ice axe, crampons ropes and necessary climbing gears under the supervision and instruction from the climbing leader/guide. People wanting to do this type of expedition needs psychological and physical stamina plus prior experience is certainly an advantage, but not essential.
